It’s Okay…They’ll Outgrow it.

It was once thought that children simply outgrow ADHD as they age and mature.  As we now know, although ADHD begins in childhood, troubling symptoms can continue into adolescence and beyond throughout the life of your offspring.  While some youngsters may seem to outgrow the disorder, in most cases kids with ADHD grow up to be adults with ADHD.

I have discovered through decades of experience that although ADHD is chronic in its very nature, symptoms may certainly present themselves in differing ways as a person moves through life’s stages.  One thing seems certain, kids and teens whose ADHD has been addressed over the years will have a range of resources from which to draw.

I am here to help.  Heaven knows that after what we have gone through in New York and New Jersey treating ADHD may be just one of your many concerns, but definitely an important one!  My name is Dr. Steven Sussman a noted child psychologist practicing from my office located in Mountainside NJ.  Let’s talk about your kid(s).  Call me at (908) 217-8106.
