The Wrong Crowd.

Is your kid hanging out with the “wrong crowd”? Admittedly mom/dad, that is a judgement call, but don’t expect your child to give you the “right” answer! This summer, there will be relationships built that may have nothing to do with their school friends. Why not let New York/New Jersey child psychologist, Dr. Steven Sussman, help you sort things out?

Here is an old saying to keep in mind…"birds of a feather flock together". You know what that means. You may be looking at your kid as the innocent victim in this newly formed behavior, and maybe it is just bringing out traits that you didn’t realize that they had in the first place. Talking to them about it can be extremely tricky.

Making new friends this summer is part of your child’s growth. Don’t discourage it, but monitor it! A free phone call to discuss your family’s situation may be made to Dr. Steven Sussman with an office in Mountainside, NJ. Dr. Sussman will listen and begin a relationship that you might cherish. Call him at (908) 217-8106. His impeccable credentials are seen at sussmankids.com.

Is it Time to Change Schools.

This time of year, you can make one of the most important decisions of your child’s life. Before the 2023-24 school year begins you can make that important decision as to whether or not your kid’s current school is the right one for them. That weighty decision can be shared by New York/New Jersey child psychologist, Dr. Steven Sussman.

Here are three reasons to consider a change -

1.  They don’t get involved in any school activities.

2.  They are disengaged from daily learning.

3.  Grades…it usually boils down to that.

Dr. Steven Sussman has seen hundreds of children over the years that are in the wrong place at the wrong time. A change of scenery might be just what “the Dr.” ordered! If you are considering this important step of a new school this upcoming year, why not make a complimentary call to Steven Sussman at (908) 217-8106.
