Don't Throw in the Towel.

Have you ever been at wit’s end. I mean to the point of throwing up your hands and saying “I just can’t do this!” Raising a human being to adulthood is not putting together a bicycle. It is one of your sacred trusts. You brought ‘em in, now you make it work. New York/New Jersey child psychologist Dr. Steven Sussman would like to help you.

Why should you allow a 3rd party to help you raise your kid(s)? Well, do you take your child to the doctor when they are physically ill? You send them to school (we presume) to let teachers “work their magic”. Why wouldn’t you look at youth psychology and all that it entails to do the same thing?

If you need convincing, we invite you to take a good, long look at sussmankids.com. That is the website that Dr. Steven Sussman uses to show you his background and methods. Do you still need a little nudge? How about giving Dr. Steve a call at his Mountainside, NJ office at (908) 217-8106? I’ll bet he’ll have you laughing within 5 minutes. Come on, call him!

Proud to be a Melting Pot.

There is no place in America that is more of a “melting pot” than New York City and the surrounding area. I, for one, celebrate that fact especially at holiday time! How do we recognize the many faiths and beliefs that come together to form our NYC family this time of year?

Here are some ideas -

1.  Learn more about each holiday…even if it is just a little bit.

2.  Promote religious variance in your office with different decorations.

3.  Rebrand your Christmas party to a Holiday party.

From Mountainside, New Jersey, I would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season and a beautiful 2023. My name is Doctor Steven Sussman, a noted child psychologist in the New York/New Jersey area. Here is something we can ALL celebrate. Out 2022 holiday edition of Post-Covid! Enjoy, love Dr. Steve.

I Know That It’s an Important Decision.

Making the choice of whether or not your kid(s) need a little “help” on the way to adulthood is a difficult decision. Whom to trust with that responsibility may be even tougher. If the family agrees that there is a need, may I introduce myself? My name is Dr. Steven Sussman. I have dedicated my life to helping young people “take that next step” towards adulthood.

I would not presume to raise your child. That is your job. Sometimes, the house needs a fresh coat of paint, or the car needs a tune-up. Never ever be ashamed to admit that the help of a New York/New Jersey child psychologist is just the touch you need to be a success as a builder of young adults.

If you need a further understanding of me, Dr. Steven Sussman, please take a few minutes and carefully read about my philosophy and credentials on my website sussmankids.com. I have been building better young people one person at a time from my office in Mountainside, New Jersey. I hope that 2023 is a watershed year for your family. If you need to talk, I will be available at this phone number (908) 217-8106.
