Struggling in School.

As we come upon the first real break in the school year, we may be asking the question “how is my kid fitting in”? It is an issue that may need to be addressed before the first of the year in New York area schools. New York/New Jersey child psychologist, Dr. Steven Sussman, may be able to make a difference for your family.

Some steps that you may take (or have already taken) are -

1. Communicate openly with your kid.

2. Support them when they are doing homework.

3. Arrange fun activities for them…and maybe their friends.

4. Meet with teachers.

5. Call a licensed child therapist to get his/her take on the matter.

That’s where Dr. Steven Sussman brings a unique perspective to the proceedings. It may be simple, or it may not. I will bet a dollar to a donut that Dr. Steve has seen it before. He just may be able to help you from his office in Mountainside NJ. Isn’t it worth a phone call to this number (908) 217-8106? Before that, you can see him for yourself at sussmankids.com.
